Privacy Policy

The Ember Dragon Forge operates this website from Alabama, United States. This policy explains local editing, optional analytics and error reports, and information you send to support.

The core stencil editor processes images and generates stencil exports in your browser. The local AI tools run on your device after downloading their required models. Our analytics and error reporting do not receive your artwork, image pixels, filenames, project contents, or exported files.

Editable project files are saved where you choose on your device. Browser storage may keep recovery data, preferences, and cached AI models. You can remove browser data through your browser settings; doing so may erase unsaved recovery work. Downloaded files must be deleted separately on your device.

If you choose to upload a custom font, the font file and its name are sent to our font service. Successfully stored fonts and their metadata are available through the shared font library and may be accessible to other visitors. They remain there until removed or the hosting storage is cleared. Only upload fonts you have permission to share; contact support to request removal.

Converting text that uses a shared custom font into vector outlines sends that text, the font identifier, size, and position to our server for processing. This information is not included in optional analytics or error reports.

When enabled and allowed through your privacy choices, Umami Cloud measures page visits and stencil exports. We send a limited page path and, for an export, its format (PNG, PDF, or SVG), whether it is an individual layer or ZIP, and the number of stencil layers included.

A ZIP counts as one export. This records a file handed to the browser for downloading, not confirmation that the file was saved. The service provider necessarily receives connection information such as an IP address when handling requests and may derive approximate location and browser information. We do not send a name, email address, or custom visitor identity with these events.

When enabled and allowed through your privacy choices, Sentry receives limited technical reports to help us repair problems. Reports contain a generic error category and code location where available. Raw error messages, console history, page contents, input values, screenshots, and session recordings are excluded. Sentry receives network connection information as part of delivering the report; its server-side IP storage setting is also disabled during setup.

Optional analytics and error reporting are off until you allow them. You can change your choice below. We also disable these reports when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Blocking optional reports does not prevent stencil creation or downloading. Your privacy preference is stored locally in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies, sell your personal information, or share it for targeted advertising.

Vercel hosts the website and may process IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, and operational logs to deliver and secure it. Some features download fonts, software, or AI models from Google, jsDelivr, Hugging Face, and their delivery providers. Those requests expose ordinary connection information to those providers. The local AI tools download models; they do not send your image to those model hosts. External links and any third-party features you deliberately use are also subject to the respective provider’s policies.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to include. We use them to answer your request, troubleshoot issues, and address legal or security concerns. Avoid sending sensitive information or artwork unless it is necessary for your request.

Ko-fi is an optional third-party service for donations. The embedded Ko-fi support page is not loaded until you choose to load it. Opening Ko-fi from the website, the app, or a post-download prompt sends ordinary connection information to Ko-fi and is governed by Ko-fi’s privacy practices. Any information you enter and any payment you make are provided directly to Ko-fi and its payment providers; The Ember Dragon Forge does not receive your complete payment-card details.

We retain support messages only as long as reasonably needed to address your request and related legal or security needs. Usage and error data follow the retention settings and limits of the enabled services; they are not retained as copies of your projects. We limit access to reporting dashboards and use encrypted connections, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process data in the United States or other countries where they operate. See Umami’s privacy policy, Sentry’s privacy policy, and Vercel’s privacy policy.

The service is intended for users age 13 and older. Users under 18 need permission from a parent or guardian. We do not collect birth dates or independently verify age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information we hold. Contact support@emberdragonforge.com to ask a question or make a request. We may need limited information to verify a request. Because we do not attach your identity to analytics, we may be unable to identify a particular visitor’s events. We cannot access or delete files stored only on your device.
