Terms of Service

The Ember Dragon Forge operates this service from Alabama, United States. The stencil maker is free to use. Please read these Terms before using it and contact us if anything is unclear.

The service is supported by optional donations through Ko-fi. A donation is voluntary and does not purchase additional app features, priority service, ownership rights, or a license to The Ember Dragon Forge software or branding. Ko-fi and its payment providers handle donation transactions under their own terms and policies.

The service is intended for people age 13 and older. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian to use it. We do not collect birth dates or verify each visitor’s age.

You keep your rights in your original artwork. You may use, modify, share, and sell stencils you create from artwork you own, and physical items made with them. The Ember Dragon Forge does not require attribution or royalties for those uses.

If you use someone else’s artwork, photographs, fonts, trademarks, or other material, you must obtain the permissions needed for your intended use. Processing material with this app does not give you rights you did not already have. Third-party assets remain subject to their applicable licenses.

We do not claim ownership of your artwork or a right to publish or sell it. Using the editor does not grant us a public distribution license to your designs. Our software, branding, and supplied assets remain subject to their respective ownership and license terms.

The custom-font upload feature sends fonts to a shared library. Only upload a font if you have permission to host it and make it available to other visitors. Uploading a font authorizes the service to store and serve that font for this feature; it does not transfer ownership of the font or your artwork.

Use the service lawfully. Do not use it to infringe another person’s rights, create illegal material, distribute malware, or disrupt the service. You are responsible for the material you select and how you use the results.

Save your editable project files to your device and keep your own backups. Browser recovery data can be lost when browser storage is cleared, storage limits are reached, or software or devices fail. We cannot recover local files that you have lost.

Check your exported layers, dimensions, bridges, alignment markers, and paint order before use. Results depend on your image, settings, materials, and equipment. Follow your equipment manufacturer’s instructions and use suitable materials and safety precautions.

The service and its outputs are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free results.

To the extent permitted by law, The Ember Dragon Forge is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or wasted materials arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Our Privacy Policy explains local processing, optional usage measurement and error reporting, and support communications.

We may update the service and these Terms. Updated Terms will appear here with a revised effective date. Alabama law and applicable United States federal law govern these Terms, subject to any mandatory protections provided by the laws where you live.
